PRIVACY POLICY

The Personal Protection Data Act (PDPA) takes effect in phases starting with the provisions relating to the formation of the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) on 2 January 2013. Provisions relating to the Do-Not-Call Registry will come into force on 2 January 2014 and the main data protection rules will come into force on 2 July 2014.

Unitech is proud to announce that we have put in place a set of procedures/policies in dealing with the personal data under our custodianship (whether the data is stored in electronic or non-electronic form), under the Personal Data Protect Act in Singapore.

To support this act, Unitech has established a Data Protection Unit that deals with all matters pertaining to personal data that are captured in Unitech’s registry from a business perspective, i.e. such as enquiries, events/conferences/seminars/exhibitions and social activities etc.

All earth termination networks which are annually audited and maintained with low impedance earthing and all surge protection of communications, data and telephone lines are equally essential.
